The great Mallorcan cuisine – convivial cooking competition under the Mallorcan sun
The guests are welcomed with an entertaining wine tasting. Three wines are presented until the cooking action begins. By the lottery drum the participants are divided into teams. Each participant will be equipped with an apron and chef’s hat. Cooking gloves are also available.
In addition to various cooking stations, there is a central table where food, olive oil, various spices and cooking utensils and kitchen machines are set up for free use. This is how we deep-fry, cut, roast and cook and also fire the wood-burning oven to bake in it later – everyone is busy. Several chefs are available with advice and help. Each team is also handed out the recipes.
The prepared tapas will be offered and promoted by the respective team to all other teams during the cooking process, so that all teams can taste it from each cooking station. Salads are placed in the middle of the table and starters, main courses and desserts are served and presented by one team member. Each participant receives an evaluation sheet in which each cooking station is evaluated. The participants of the best teams will be awarded with a prize.
