Stopping time in the historic patio of Alaiar

The idyllic patio of Alaiar is a great place to spend time. The way to our wine cabinet is short, and you stay in a tasteful ambience. A selection of wines from the nearby area is accompanied by our sumptuous “ironing board”. Tastefully prepared for palate and eye, we prepare the wooden board for 2 and more people.

How does the stay with snack board work?

When you arrive, you will be welcomed in the idyllic courtyard of Alaiar. There we explain the history of our estate in an entertaining way. In our small finca shop you can choose local wines or local beer. The ironing board is already prepared for you and placed in the middle of the table.

*The composition of the dishes may change depending on the season. We try to use local, organic products for the picnics as much as possible. Depending on season and availability, we use our own grown vegetables and herbs.

What does the ironing board cost?

The deliciously prepared snack board costs € 22.00 per person incl. 10% IVA/VAT. Each additional person is charged € 22.00 incl. 10% IVA/VAT. Drinks, wine and coffee are not included in the price and can be ordered/purchased on site. The prices can be found on our drinks menu.

How many people can eat on the ironing board?

The board can be ordered for from 2 people up to 10 people. Currently, we have to comply with local regulations and can only occupy tables with the maximum number of people allowed.

How long does it last?

We currently offer the snack from 11.00 am. According to current legislation, we are limited to a maximum of 17.00 hrs. You should calculate at least 2 hours.

What drinks can I choose?

From the price list, everyone can choose their favourite local wine, for example from Biniagual, Macia Batle, Son Prim, Ca Na Padrina, etc….
In terms of beer, we offer varieties from Toutatis, which are also produced in the immediate vicinity. Water and juices are also found on the drinks menu.

Can I bring my own drinks or food?

Our snack board is generously stocked. Please do not bring your own food. We also ask you not to bring your own drinks.

Is the ironing board vegetarian or even vegan?

Yes – we can leave out the sausage and ham and use more of the other products or other vegetarian products. We don’t currently offer vegan snacks. But just ask – we’ll come up with something.

Can I come without a prior reservation?

Since we prepare most of the products for the picnic fresh and often do not have the ingredients in stock, it is necessary to call whether it is possible at short notice or not.
